My name is Wester (like Western Bacon Cheeseburger, but minus the “n Bacon Cheeseburger”) and my last name is Demandante. It’s Spanish for plaintiff, which is pretty cool I guess.

As a second generation Filipino-American, I felt that infamous pressure that all young Filipinos feel from their parents. "Be a filmmaker." So I began the inevitable quest. I made films in high school, avoided the treacherous pits of film school (too expensive!), and worked any PA job I could find. The expedition proved costly, but shaped the vision I needed to build worlds of my own.

My dream is to create feature narrative films that serve as an escape through laughter and showcase underrepresented communities. So if you have heaps of money that you’d like to use to finance my dream, my contact info is below.
